Is a Clinton Running Again?
Ah, once again it is Clinton Campaign Season, a time when we brush up on our ability to absorb yet even more outrageous flaunting of the law: Blogs for Bush has a few examples of Campaign Finance Violations on the horizon, stemming from the Dems last campaign. And now I see that Hillary’s campaign may suffer due to donation violations from fugative Mr. Hsu … see Captain’s Quarters for an overview on this one. He evidently isn’t a one-armed man, Quinn-Martin!
For more in-depth analysis of the Clinton scandle-of-the-moment, including details like a the Paw family’s modest home and the massive donations they have given … see Classical Values. An excerpt:
Six members of the Paw family, each listing the house at 41 Shelbourne Ave. as their residence, have donated a combined $45,000 to the Democratic senator from New York since 2005, for her presidential campaign, her Senate re-election last year and her political action committee. In all, the six Paws have donated a total of $200,000 to Democratic candidates since 2005, election records show.
Not surprisingly, the twists and turns of how this apparently modest family came to contribute so much money are not easy to follow, but the pattern looks familiar to experts, who suspect that the Paw family was a conduit for money which came from Norman Hsu — a crook who fled to Hong Kong …
Time for the Dems to call us money-grubbing Republicans again!
