Global Warming Measurement Problems
I’m officially in the Skeptical Camp any time a group of humans predict our immanent demise, no matter their qualifications or level of intelligence. Human knowledge is limited, even when we think we know everything.
I don’t purport to know the answer to the great global warming question, but I do like to read both Climate Audit and Real Climate to try and get more than one side of the story. Climate Audit has published some pictures of the temperature stations around the US, and has found many instances where the ground stations have been compromised by construction near them:
The article notes that the ground station has been moved so that the thermometer is no longer affected by the hot air blowing off those air conditioner compressors. The average temps are noted to be cooler, according to the author.
