Details of the Hagan Family Cruise
Date: August 22, 2010 Intended For:
Descendants of Robert William Hagan, their family and friends (the more the merrier!) This is a “casual cruise” to let everyone mingle as they wish, with no planned or formal family activities. Basically, you are on your own and can feel free to hide away and lounge, or meet up and have fun. Itinerary:

| Suite: | $1,799 |
(Third and fourth person rates are less, as low as $99)
Cruise rates are quoted “per person, double occupancy”, so you can double these rates for two people. Additional cruisers in the same room can be less; contact me or the travel agent for details. To see the stateroom floorplans, visit NCL Pearl’s Staterooms.
- Taxes and fees: ~ $180 per person
- Daily Service Charge (DSC) – $84 per person
- Any excursions, etc. that you decide on
- Veterans: deduct 10%
- Union members: deduct 10%
Both people in the cabin get the discount if one is either a veteran or a union member. These discounts cannot be combined.
Additional Group Discount:Estimated: $49.94 pp
- If we book at least 8 cabins an additional group discount of one person’s fare is split up among us. At the low end, that would be $799 divided by 16, for a net discount of $49.94 off. If they take the average of the group’s bookings then the discount would be higher. This discount is in addition to a veteran’s or union member’s discount. Additional Group Benefits
$75 – $100 per cabin on-board credit. This can be used for any expense on-board, including excursions, the Daily Service Charge ($84), or drinks. These discounts have the potential to lower the cruise cost to about $895 per person, with all or most of the “Daily Service Charge” taken care of with the on-board credit. Remember that a cruise is an “all inclusive” vacation; you can spend more on the boat, but you don’t have to. These costs include all meals for the full 7 days, tipping, etc. Optional cost items would be alcoholic drinks, spa treatments, excursions in ports, etc. We found that walking tours of the ports was as interesting as most excursions, but that will depend on the weather! Example Cost for a Couple:
| Item | Cost Per Person | Total Cost |
| Cruise Fare, Inside: | $799 | $1,598 |
| Daily Service Charge (total): | $84 | $168 |
| Taxes and Fees: | $180 | $360 |
| Subtotal: | $1,063 | $2,126 |
| Veteran’s Discount: | ($79.90) | ($159.80) |
| Group Discount: | ($49.94) | ($99.98) |
| On-Board Credit: | ($37.50) | ($75) |
| Total Cost: | $895.66 | $1,791.32 |
Up until 75 days before the sailing (June 8, 2010), any additional discounts or fare reductions that become available can be applied. Then, final payment is due and the price is locked in. Booking:
Once we decide this is what we want to do, we can book individually, either online at the NCL Website or by emailing or calling NCL’s agent handling our group, Christopher Brown. If you book online, call or email the agent and give him the booking information and tell him you are part of “Frank Hagan’s Group”. That will qualify you for the group discount if we get to 8 cabins. You can also contact him if you have any questions that I don’t answer sufficiently for you: Christopher Brown
